Consider A Prelit Artificial Christmas Tree For Simplicity And Beauty

I made the decision years ago to go with an artificial Christmas tree. This year I'm taking that decision one step farther.

After struggling with wires and outlets for a couple of hours I decided that it was time for me to invest in a prelit artificial Christmas tree. I had enough of the old system of wrestling around a tree with a bunch of lights that may or may not work. I had enough of stringing and unstringing the stubborn wires of bulbs around the unyielding evergreen.

This year, I am investing in a prelit artificial Christmas tree to save my sanity. My old evergreen decoration was about finished anyway. I bought the thing way back when I moved into my first apartment. Now that I have a new home I should have a new set of decorations to adorn it as well starting with a pre-lit artificial Christmas tree.

We all know that artificial Christmas trees get better looking every year. It's to the point where they really do look like live trees. My old one did not. And since it's time for a new tree anyway, why not go the extra step to make my life more simple.

I love the concept of everything coming together in one easily installed unit. The stress is on the phrase easily installed. For years, I have wrestled with the same evergreen and I am getting too old for the fight. It is really scary when an artificial tree can get the better of you. The lights were getting a little intimidating as well. They were seemingly taking on a life of their own. It was a battle of wills and I was definitely losing.

A prelit artificial Christmas tree is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to avoid a fight with an evergreen at any cost. Fortunately, these pre-lit trees are not very expensive. I was thrilled to find that I could get one for about the same price as a light-free version. Why spend the time putting the lights on and off when you can have the whole thing ready-made?

I found that I could install this item in a fraction of the time that it took me to put up the old evergreen. I can’t say how much difference in time because I tended to lose track of time when dealing with the traditional model. I had to take frequent breaks to keep my frustration from getting the better of me. The prelit artificial Christmas tree is far easier to work with and it is way less time consuming.

I used to dedicate an entire afternoon and part of the evening into setting up my holiday tree display. The pre-lit artificial Christmas tree takes less than an hour from start to finish and I don’t have to fuss with a lot of wires in the process.

The wires are really aggravating especially after you just spent so much time putting up the tree in the first place. The prelit artificial Christmas tree doesn’t require extra work once you have it put up. The only thing you need to worry about are the ornaments.

And needless to say, taking down this tree is even easier. Putting the Christmas tree ornaments away is still time consuming. But how much time do you spend every year trying to unwrap the lights from the tree? And how much more time do you spend neatly folding the strands so they won't be tangled when you take them out again next year? And that's only to find out your efforts were in vain as you try to untangle the mess each December.
